WVSU hosts GAD Agenda and Gender Mainstreaming Assessment Training Workshop last February 19-21, 2024

GAD Agenda and Application Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) in WVSU Community

     Gender Mainstreaming (GM) is one of the major strategies in educating and informing various sectors of the university on the need to recognize and respect the rights of women and men.

     GM in higher education is  essential for institutional and national development, and Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s) being the central site for facilitating the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to be genderized.

 

The training about GAD Agenda and Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework was facilitated and participated by the Gender and Development Focal Point System through the GAD Office in collaboration with the GAD Coordinators from Main and External Campuses and Medical Center. The three-day training-workshop enhanced the capability of the GAD advocates related to GAD Agenda and Application Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) in WVSU Community .
