Dr. Jeanette J. Simpas, Director of the Gender and Development Office, opened the program and welcomed the new and recurring GAD focal persons.

Dr. Simpas also emphasized the understanding and importance of GAD attributed budget in maximizing resources relative to addressing gender-related issues in the University.
